Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American actress from America. Her first film appearance was in Bad Boys (1983). Then she enrolled in the Bratpack group and appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than 20 years. Her film career began beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured prominent actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her debut success on screen, the actress appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films of all time. It was produced for only $1,000,000 but it grossed in excess of $50 million. Additionally, she began being featured in various shows on TV like CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. From April 1980 it was an adolescent show. Other TV shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. In Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. She also appears in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is an appearance in a small part. Sheedy received numerous awards in 2005 for her work. She also received the by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
